REVIEWED | Clearasil Avocado & Pomegranate Face Wash And Mask

I don't know how I feel about this review as it'll be the first fully negative post. Normally when I buy a new product that I've had no experience with before it goes down a storm but sadly this product just reminded me how difficult my skin can be at times. I purchased this product just over a week ago and have used it roughly 6 times, hoping my skins initial reaction would become accustom to the wash.

From the instructions you have the option to apply this daily as a facial cleanser or as a mask up to 3 times a week. The consistency of this cream is very thick which was quite surprising as normally facial washes are quite thin and runny. This is in my opinion an advantage to the consumer as less product goes a long way, so you don't waste all the product in a short period of time.

As you can see, the facial wash can also be used as a mask. This makes the product become multi-functional, offering a daily cleanse and a weekly (3 times a week max) deeper cleanse to ensure your skin is at its best. It's sad because personally this is where the advantages of this product end.

Initially when I start using a new product on my face, there tends to be a little irritation which passes over time yet the irritation from this face wash was very strong and persistent. Having sensitive and greasy skin, I thought the avocado could be too strong along with the salicylic acid   in the ingredients but I did a little test and had my mum try out the product who has the opposite skin to myself.

The same reaction came from my mum as myself, unable to treat sensitive/greasy skin or normal/dry skin without a high amount of irritation could be enough evidence towards this product not being suitable to universal skin types. Being new to the brand I'm unaware how long this product has been on the market or if the ingredients have been changed from a previous variation.

However I am sure that I will not be purchasing this product again under any circumstances, or will I be buying any products from the entire brand range unless it is bought as a present. I hope this information has been useful to new possible Clearasil customers.

#suicideawarenessday

You might of noticed from the title but today is national 'Suicide Awareness Day' this is to highlight the millions of people who have gone through troubled times and / or events in their life resulting in taking their own lives. Knowing people who have been effected of this illness so to speak I'd like to plea the case many people do who offer advice and remember you are not alone as thousands of people deal with this every day for years.

This message has been passed around all social media websites but especially Twitter, I've noticed Twitter is a brilliant form of communication on latest events and if more accurate than that of Tumblr, Facebook, Myspace etc. Showing support too sufferers, members of Twitter have posted pictures of their wrists ( the most common place to self-harm ) with the words 'LOVE' across. Whether it covers the entire wrist of in the corner. So to show my support I have also done this, posting my photo on twitter which I will leave below.

There are many forums online, people you can talk to via mobile and more way in which you can voice your problem so you can begin recovery. As a person, like I said earlier has known people who have gone through these problems I am welcome to give advice or speak to anyone that feels like they have nowhere else to turn to, just message me via twitter @Faganatorxo

Starting Off In College | Expectations & Realities

If you're a regular viewer to my Youtube videos, which I will link down below you will know I started college for the first time on Wednesday 5th of September at a completely different college in compassion to my usual friendship group. For those who are wondering, I have kept contact with 2 people so far from that group out of the total of 6 roughly. I however feel going to a different college gives you the kick to meet new friends or revisit old friendships to those who attended the same High School as yourself.

The subjects I finally chose for the 2 year course are English Literature, English Language, Sociology and at the moment Maths GCSE. With exam grade boundaries increasing dramatically I just fell short of passing my Maths exam so I will be resitting that in my first year of college at GCSE level. Once that is sorted, and I have hopefully gained those extra few marks I shall be taking up either Media or Film Studies (I think Film more) as an AS course which is half of an A-Level.

Looking at my general demographic of blog readers, I've noticed just over half of those from The United States of Amercia, the education system over there is alien to me in the UK so the sum up college for those outside the UK; you attend college at the age of 16/17 till 18. You can resit your first year in certain colleges so whereas mostly students are in that age bracket, a few students may be 18/19.

Again going into a completely new environment I was unable to determine what aspects might occur regarding transport systems, teacher to student interaction and how subjects would be taught. One of the subjects, Sociology is a new subject to me but again this is due to my high school not having the course as an option but it slowly is becoming more popular through more and more high schools across the UK.

During the first day of college you meet with your PT (personal tutor) and do a series of team building activities with a variety of students in your year group, being all in the same boat so to speak everyone is relatively quiet to start off with. This is completely natural so if you follow this pattern or find it strange you have the opportunity to break the ice. The day went pretty smoothly and made initial friendships with both boys and girls.

Starting mid week, I have only attended 3 days of college 2 of them official educational days which consisted of all my subjects. Every single teacher I have is a wonder, answering questions and making sure you understand what course you throwing yourself into. I know this has been a relatively long post but I hope you can understand that even though you maybe anxious as to occurrences, if you just relax everything will go fine.

I hope everybody that has started either high school, college, university or going into their final years of all them forms of education the best of luck as you need to take these years all seriously to ensure for a financially safe future. Later on into the year, I will so a 4 month assessment of each subject to give you a more in depth knowledge of said subjects at AS level.

REVIEWED | Lush 'American Cream' Conditioner

I thought I'd ease myself back into blogging by doing a review on a particular product that I want to buy in bulk, and it's Lush's well known American Cream hair conditioner. With the essence of strawberries and cream, this conditioner does wonders for anybody with damned hair, whether it is slight are very high.

Keeping up with the health of my hair is a hard task since bleaching one half blonde, continuing to use my regular conditioner there was no significant change. Instead my hair felt more brittle, dry and looked dim. I eventually got round to nipping into Lush to see if they had a solution to my hair dilemma.

I was blessed enough to find a lady who had also gone through the same problem as my self, who had the perfect conditioner for me and it was 'American Cream'. I purchased the medium sized bottle which was around £7.75. I was not expecting anything great as I've been through many conditioners but this works wonders.

I apply this all over my hair after shampooing, focusing on the roots applying a generous amount there and less on the ends. It lathers up quite nicely and smells utterly divine in and out of the shower. Once I was dry my hair felt like it had a new life, being extremely soft throughout the whole of my head also the smell of strawberries was still prominent on my hair.

This conditioner for un-damaged hair will be a luxury product to keep up with the already good condition you will have it in, but it you're partial to hair dying or applying heat on a regular basis your hair will thank you for the miracle in a bottle.
